Bulky Uterus with Multiple Fibroids
My mother aged 48 post menopausal(periods stopped about two years back) having vaginal bleeding from 3 days. She experienced pain during urination last month.Doctor prescribed oestrogen hormone tablets(there is no pain now).after course is over she got vaginal bleeding and on ultra sound for pelvis it showed bulky uterus (11 x 6.4 x 5.1 cms) with multiple fibroids largest being (4.2 x 4 cm) cm) .Endometrial echo is normal with 5.1 mm.How do we proceed further?is this bleeding because of fibroids and hormone tablets?any further tests needed? Please explain condition and treatment
