Brownish patch on cheek
I have noticed a brownish patch on my cheek, m not sure when it showed up, but m sure its within last 2 week. I don't smoke, drink or eat tobaccos nor was exposed to sun much. So, right now m just waiting for that patch to fade away, but apart from that, please check in the photo, when my fingernail is touching, there a swelled up nerve/blood vessel is there, not visible but when i touch it i can fee it, its pulsating too. And in the other side of the mouth when i searched similar nerve, there's no swelling. I am worried about cancer, and also there's much whiteness on retromolar trigone on the affected side, is this happening because of the wisdom tooth or anything? Please help me. Also attached a full wide open mouth picture, note: m wearing a custom splint since 2-3 days so to avoid the dental irritation if any.

Hi there , This is definitely not a cancer . Please relax. You could have touched near a vessel that's underlying the mucosa and thats y u felt the pulsation. It's absolutely normal. This is frictional keratosis due to rubbing of the teeth on the cheek . If u feel ne thing is sharp get it smoothened by a dentist near by. Unless u see selomething grow in size don't worry. Also your retromolar trigone region is absolutely normal.

The blackish discoloration may be due to trauma or some medications or chemicals burn or just melanin deposition..  Chances of it being a cancer are less..  You can wait and watch...  If it doesn't subsides you can go for further investigation..  Pulsating vessel may be the normal anatomy..  White lesson may due to irritation from  opposing cusp.. So think positive and wait for some time.. After 2 weeks visit oral medicine dentist near you.

Best to visit a dentist in-person...since you've a custom splint.. I guess, a dentist would have made it..... nevertheless it doesn't look alarming...but don't take the risk of waiting too long

This patch seems to be result of cheek bite. There is no need to panic. Negligible sign of cancer. You should wait for it to vanish rather panicking and the pulsating thing you mentioned is normal. Thank you.
