Brown spotting light to medium
Hello Doctors, As per my lmp I am 6 weeks 3 days but transvaginal ultrasound showed gsac and yolk sac and gestational age to be 5 weeks 0 days. I do had irregular cycles. I has brown spotting from my cd 33 which went away the next day then had intercourse twice and on cd 43 it started (around 4 weeks I guess) I did not know I was pregnant during that time and post knowing I have been taking dydrogestrone 10 mg twice a day and had one injection of hcug 5000 on the day of my ultrasound. My brown discharge has still not stopped and does fill my underwear . The dr earlier said it is not to be worried about but my question is even with dydrogestrone when does this stop and is there any thing to worry about?

Rather than worrying you need to understand that spotting in pregnancy could be because of multiple reasons It could be implantation bleeding which is normal It could be because of deficiency of hormone progesterone It could be because of a missed abortion To Diagnose the last condition you need to repeat an ultrasound at 7 weeks to look at the heartbeat
