I noticed brown discharge on 7 Sept and doctor advised me to go in for a cervix length test the next day. I also took a Proluton injection and restarted Dydrogest. Results came back and cervix measures at 3.2cm and no signs of placenta previa or funneling. Fetal heartbeat was measured at 145 BPM. I have a slightly low lying placenta but it is at 1.5cms; and I am told that this normally fixes itself in a few more weeks. The brown discharge stopped for a few days, but now the brown discharge is back. It is not heavy discharge, just little spotting and streaks when I dab with a towel. I do not have persistent cramps or back pain, just intermittent cramps that come and go across the abdominal area.
Should I be concerned? I am due for an anomaly scan on 29th Sept.
