Brown line around tooth can be a calculus deposit, and it can be easily removed by scaling. However,  caries on the other hand require removal and filling with a suitable material. Kindly, visit a dentist for proper diagnosis and exact treatment because without oral examination correct treatment plan can not be prepared.

It is difficult to arrive at a conclusive diagnosis based on the description that you have mentioned..... most likely you you are having deposits of calculus which need to be removed by teeth cleaning..... the best option would be to visit a dentist and get a proper clinical examination done.... Regards....
