Hello, You may have an abortion. Are you having cramps as well? Follow up with your obstetrician for further evaluation and management.

Hi, As you are in your 13th week, you must have gotten a scan done recently. What did that scan say? When was that taken? Was everything normal then? Very minimal brown discharge sometimes may not be very serious. And you mentioned your cramps are mild. If your recent scan was normal. Less chance of anything very serious happening. Nevertheless threatened abortion needs to be ruled out for which you will have to visit your obstetrician as soon as possible.

Brown color discharge is suggestive of old bleeding inside the uterus...if it's associated with pain then better you go and consult your obstetrician immediately..to rule out threatened abortion
