Hello, my brother is in A/E due to severe pain and swelling in his left thigh, he couldn't walk. his thigh went from red to a greyish and purple. pulse in his thigh is diminished. His blood results came back with: C-reactive protein 16mg/ml, ESR 120mm/h, Hematocrit 42% and WBC count of 28,000/ul. They said they will give him antibiotics
he's going to undergo surgical exploration possible necrotizing fasciitis & received a total fasciotomy necrotizing fasciitis of his thigh extending to pelvis

He will require a proper detailed examination by a Physiotherapist before starting any exercises. As there will be some contraindications and limitations mobilization initially
