Breathing trouble during hiccups
During last 8 months my mother is having trouble in breathing during hiccups.Hiccups are occurring while she is sleeping or at any sudden time without any reason.The main problem is that while she is having hiccups she suffers from breathing trouble.

It can be related to pollution and stress and anxiety

Tell your mother to lie with head in proped up position by using few pillows. Hiccups generally does not causes breathing problems. Since she has these symptoms, she should be investigated properly. If she is obese and diabetic also, don’t forget to think about sleep all apnea. For treatment of hiccups also we need to know why it’s happening. Proper examination and investigation is required before treatment!
