no its not antibiotics but water retention in your breast that is causing heaviness and pain. start on cap.primrose oil twice day and that would help. take the cap for atleast 15 days

Dear Ma'am, Thank you for your query regarding breast and arm pit pain and swelling.  The cause for the symptoms, described could be many but at the outset I,d like to know if you are currently breastfeeding or using any hormonal medication and do regular breast self examination or have a family history of breast disease. Have u detected any localized breast lump, nipple discharge or galactorrhea recently. Cyclical mastalgia is a common pre-menopausal symptom, if found to be excessive can be alleviated by simple analgesics, evening primrose oil and vitamin e supplements.
Next Steps
1. Persistence of the swelling in breast and armpit requires a consultation with the breast surgeon for full history and clinical examination. Further investigations like blood tests, ultrasound of the breast or mammography will be advised on the the basis of the clinical findings. 2. As far as your delayed period is concerned,  I'd advice a urine pregnancy test to rule out pregnancy and then consult a local gynaecologist.
