Hello, do the breast milk turn sour in breasts if not feed for baby on time i.e feed lately? Should we express and discard if left for long time in breasts?

Hi. The milk does not get sour in the breast . But better to express it after every 3 hrs if not feeding . It can be storrd and reused .

Firstly u shouldn't let breast milk get collected in breast as it might lead to breast lumps and abscess , so after every 2-3 hours if ur baby is not drinking ur milk , u can express the milk and store it for the baby in the fridge for the same day and then u can warm to room temperature and give the baby
