Braces treatment
Sir/madam my frontal tooth is misaligned because of childhood trauma and i consulted couple of dentists for braces treatment but according to them teeth extraction is must! i personally don't want to sacrifice my teeth as i have already lost two teeth due to severe cavity problem. please help in this regards and provide some alternative solution.

hello,
if you do not wish to go for extraction, you can go for the slicing of the proximal surfaces of the teeth. ask your consulting orthodontist if its possible.

For your kind info, you didn't sacrifice your teeth previously as you got your wisdom teeth removed on the right side, which are not at all useful for any purpose in oral cavity. As an orthodontist I sincerely advice you to undergo extraction of your four permanent premolars because you have more amount of forward placement of teeth. Consult an Orthodontist without hesitation and get your treatment done immediately as your age is also favourable for a fast response. Thank you and all the best with your treatment.

Removing teeth here in this case is not 'sacrificing'. Considering your age, orthodontic correction would be the best and natural way for correcting the crowded teeth before thinking of any artifical replacements. The teeth that would be removed for orthodontic correction, (premolars) are non functional and the chewing ability will not change or reduce after removing those. The spaces would close completely after the treatment and this will allow to accommodate crowded teeth in a pleasing alignment.The esthetic outcome( appearance) of the treatment is worth getting those teeth removed.

Get your teeth removed. If u want a good smile.
If you don't want a good smile (only a better one is ok) then ask for something called "proximal striping"
Your tooth won't be taken out but it will be made little small to gain space.

If extraction is being suggested by the orthodontist I would probably suggest you to go for it . You will receive the best possible result after extraction . If you try to go in for alternative short cuts, then the result will be heavily compromised

To correct crowding of teeth, we need space were we can move your teeth & extraction of pre-molars is commonly practiced method to gain the space. There are other options also, but according to requirement of case orthodontist plan the treatment most suitable for you. Mam,teeth extraction is generally advised if there is no space to align all the teeth in a good arch shape.Looking at your x-ray you also require a few proximal fillings,upper left 2nd premolar may require a root canal,left 1st molar needs a crown,left quadrant impacted teeth needs to be removed.Good luck.

Looking at your x ray the possibility of aligning teeth without extraction seems possible..veneers also can be a great option. Best would be to have a clinical look n then take a call
