Braces Removal and Permanent Retainers
I got my Braces removed today after 2.5 years. My smile has improved to about 98%. However, there is a slight curve in 3 teeth which is very difficult to see. Can it be fixed ? I have got permanent retainers, so it doesn't look like it can move.

Alterations or modifications are done when the treatment is still in active phase , now as you have fixed retainers , there would not be any further movement or changes possible. For these slight changes you would have to undergo the orthodontic treatment again which I won't suggest , rather you can go for aligners which are much more comfortable and give amazing results .

Hi whatever corrections are to be made can be done only during the active phase of treatment. Once they are achieved the desired result is when the braces are taken off after which retainers are given only to retain the corrected alignment. If you are still looking for further correction you can get clear aligners as they are more comfortable, faster and give a good finish.

Hello Sir. Before we start Orthodontic treatment we ask our patients what exactly are they expecting from the treatment. If you have already completed your treatment. And you are already on retainers now. I would like to ask are these three teeth front ones or the molars and premolars. If they were originally a part of your treatment plan discuss them with your Orthodontist. They will see if the teeth really need more changes. In most cases it is less likely needed so because you say you wore the braces for full 2.5 years.  If it is settling of teeth that you are talking about braces will not be needed again. And dental retainers are enough. Hope this helped.
