Braces -occlusion and muscle spasm (Tmd)
My second phase treatment with braces is going on for my tmj disorder. I have noticed that my occlusion is being aligned slowly and my facial appearance is coming back. Can braces correct muscle spasm occured due to tmd? Is it possible for braces to increase my overbite by pushing my lower jaw backward or by anyway? Is muscle spasm in facial area will go away automatically during the alignment of my bite? Please help 🙏.

Yes, being an orthodontist I will suggest you to wait for better results.balanced occlusion along with well aligned teeth can improve the TMJ and muscle conditions.specially when malocclusion itself is the origin of the problem.
