Bp medication and vitamin supplements
Am taking Cilacar 10 mg as a bp medicine for the last few years..my bp is under control but some times fluctuations between normal to 140/90..can I take zync and vitamin C tablets as a immunity booster .. Will it interact with my bp tablet cilacar as it is a calcium channel blocker medicine.. When can I stop my bp medicine? Please advise

As you said your BP seems controlled but shows fluctuations and reaches 140/90 .. BP variability as you are saying is also not good marker from long term aspect. It wills be good if you records your BP twice daily morning before tea and evevening between 4-6 pm before tea. Keep the chart so I can decide about suggest you the plan about BP AND ITS MEDICATIONS YOU CAN TAKE YOUR VIT C AND ZINC alongwith BP medicine

A bunch of BP recordings done efficiently and accurately at HOME is a way forward. Normally the BP varies; it’s in its nature. However consistent high and lows are considered bad. Say about 6 readings 3 in the morning and 3 in the evening at an intervals of half a minute- per day over 5 days and noting them . Reviewing them helps. All in all no major issue please

You can take medications.. Vitc and zinc along with BP medications... BP medications have to be continued..
