Twice in last 30 days my BP has gone up after consuming some salty food.
Rest on all days it was normal despite having salt.
I am overweight By atleast 12-14kgs .
Can that be a factor?
Yesterday after having salty tea my back of the head started paining a lot. I checked my BP with our home digital BP machine it was 140/90 . After that i consumed water and it went back to normal.
One more question I have, how accurate home BP machines are?
My lifestyle is very sedentary due to my work which is online.
I consulted a doctor he said it's not the right time to start BP medications.
Please suggest.
