Bp,heart beat high
Hello doctor, My mother in law suffering from a high BP of 160/86. When we check the pulse oxy meter it's showing 120 heartbeats. Is it OK? Will there be anything serious? To whom do we need to consult? I mean which doc?

Her BP is high , could be the reason for increased heartbeat.You can consult with a general physicianin your area for clinical examination and further management .

Consult a general physician. She needs to be on medication for hypertension henceforth. Check HR once again, if still high, try calming her down and checking after 30 mins if it's still high, you need to consult a cardiologist an get an ECG done
