My 8 days old baby isn't pooped for 3 days in a row. Is there any concern?? Two days before my breastmilk was not enough for her. So we gave formula milk two servings per day (1 scoop in 30 ml of water). Is this the reason for her condition?

Hi  there If your baby is passing flatus(gas)  And observe if the baby is Irritable does she have any pain in the abdomen if not , you can observe and continue giving breat milk to the baby . It is recommended to exclusively breast feed the baby upto 6 months and later you may add formula milk. If the breast milk is not sufficient or if you are not able to secrete more milk you can consult your obstetrician. But if the baby is not passing stools for more than 5 days or if she is not passing flatus please consult doctor for futher assesment .
Next Steps
exclusive breastfeeding for 6 months later  continue breast feed upto 2 years of age along with suppliments
Health Tips
if the baby is Irritable consult a doctor for futher  examination
