Both thighs paining
My mother slipped from staircase(around 5 steps) around one month back.Since then she is having severe pain in both the thighs.She has taken ayurveda message 5 days course & she got some relief but not upto the mark.From last 3 days she is going to physiotherapy(applying hot plates) but still problem remains the same.She is able to walk properly with no pain but not able to bend her legs or sit with folded legs.Even if she could sit but not able to get up without support, it pains a lot.Her age is 60, weight is 45 kgs & height is 5 feet.Kindly suggest.

You should consult some orthopaedician. Need proper investigation before starting treatment. Take out an x-ray n MRI as per suggested,then only start some treatment.

Hello there,,,,The first thing you need to do after fall from stairs and pain is consult an orthopadecian/musculoskeletal physiotherapist....Xray needs to be taken immediately of the lumbar spine and pelvis to rule out any fracture or SI joint strain or coccyz swelling...only on a proper detail assessment will the exact cause be known and a proper diagnosis can be made.

Your mother had history of fall 1 month back and pain is not reduced  so please visit Orthopaedic surgeon near you she need an evaluation if required to the Xray and MRI.

Hello there...... If you have leg pain from cramps or overuse, take these steps first: Rest as much as possible.Elevate your leg....Apply ice for up to 15 minutes. Do this 4 times per day, more often for the first few days....Gently stretch and massage cramping muscles....Take over-the-counter pain medicines.... Other treatment options will depend on the cause of your leg pain..... Consult Orthopedician.....
