Boil on eyelid
Hi, i have get a boil at the edge of my eyelid.. it has happened before and the eyelid gets swollen.. please let me know what i can do about this and also why this happenes

Hello this could be due to external hordeolum treatment: a. warm compresses b. apply antibiotic ointment locally over lid margins c. take systemic antibiotic

Seems to be sty, infection of zeis & Moll gland present in every body eye lid, it is generally staphylococci infection & very painful.
Health Tips
You need antibiotic orally & antibiotic eye drops along with combination of corticosteroid & antibiotic ointment to apply locally, consult some local Opthalmologist for advice,unethical to prescribe medicines here without physical examination.

You most probably have a stye. It will resolve with hot fomentation, oral antibiotics and pain killers. You have to get evaluated by an ophthalmologist as to why this problem is recurring. Common causes which cause recurrence are poor lid hygeine, uncorrected refractive error, diabetes.
Next Steps
Consult an Ophthalmologist to rule out these causes. The doctor will show u how to keep clean dirt and dandruff particles from your lid margin. Get your refraction done and wear prescription glasses if you are advised to do so.
