BMR and Metabolic age
Hi i recently checked in gym and they said my BMR is 1316 calories which is low and my metabolic age 24 which is not standard. What does BMR and metabolic a age mean?why it is low for me? What i have to do to improve? My age 24 Height 154cm Female

Egg , chicken, paneer to have daily. Bajira to have for lunch with salad and soup . Drink smoothie every day in the morning. Upma to have for breakfast for daily. Drink juice every day in the evening with almonds and walnut. Seeds to have Evey day.

BMR is basal metabloic rate, which means that the energy needed to perform functions of the body like breathing, beating of heart, kidney function, brain function and energy neede to keep the body at  same temperature all the time, and which is not in our control. so BMR is the minimum energy needed to perform all these functuons per day basis. everyone has different BMR,
