I underwent endoscopy of upper GI
Aftef that i defaecated two times in next 24 hours
Stool was totally bloody and loose
Is it norml to have bloody diarhhea after endoscopy ?
Biopsy was done on D2
Was that bloody stool due to biopsy or wt else?? As before endoscopy i never had this much bloody diarrrhea

Bleeding in stomach due to biopsy or because of any other cause will result in malena and not bright red stools. Blood in stools have different cause like co- incidental piles etc.
If bleeding after endoscopy persists then re- Endoscopy by more experienced doctor should be done to control the bleeding.
