That’s a very sensible and important question. The medicine you’re taking — **Ecosprin AV 75** — is a combination of **aspirin** and **atorvastatin**, commonly prescribed to prevent heart attack and stroke in older adults. 👉 **Common side effects** of this medicine include: * Gas and bloating * Acidity / heartburn * Indigestion * Nausea or discomfort after food This happens because aspirin can irritate the stomach lining and statins can affect digestion (agni), especially in older age when **Pitta–Vata** imbalance is common. --- ## 🌿 Ayurvedic Approach to Manage Gas & Protect Digestion ### 1. 🪴 **To Reduce Gas & Acidity** * ***** Churna** – 1 teaspoon (about 3 g) with warm water **20 min before lunch and dinner**. 👉 Balances Pitta, reduces burning, acidity, and gas. ⚠️ Take under supervision if you have diabetes or low BP. * *****Churna** – ½ teaspoon with the first bite of food or mixed with a little ghee. 👉 Improves digestion, reduces bloating and heaviness. * You can also chew *****+ kala ****** (1 tsp ****+ pinch of ****) after meals to reduce flatulence naturally. --- ### 2. 🌱 **To Protect Stomach from Aspirin Irritation** * Take 1 tsp **cow’s ghee** or **cold milk** **just before taking Ecosprin AV**. 👉 This coats the stomach lining and reduces burning. * ****** Churna** (****powder) – ¼ tsp in warm water 30 min before food, twice daily. 👉 Soothes gastric mucosa and heals minor irritation. (Avoid if you have high BP — check with your doctor first.) --- ### 3. 🥦 **Diet & Daily Habits** * ✅ Eat freshly cooked, warm, light food. * ✅ Take smaller, more frequent meals. * ✅ Walk for 10–15 minutes after eating to aid digestion. * ❌ Avoid late-night eating, spicy/fried food, excess tea or coffee. * ❌ Don’t lie down immediately after taking the medicine. --- ### 4. 💊 Important Medical Notes * Do **not** stop Ecosprin AV on your own — it’s protecting your heart. * If the gas or burning is **very severe or persistent**, your doctor may need to adjust the **timing or formulation** of the medicine (e.g., taking it after a light meal or adding a gastric-protective tablet). --- ✅ **Suggested Daily Routine Example:** * Morning: 1 tsp ghee or cold milk → then take Ecosprin AV. * Before meals: ****churna with warm water. * With meals: ****churna (½ tsp). * After meals: ****+ black salt. * Eat light, warm meals and avoid heavy or late-night food. --- Would you like me to recommend **specific trusted Ayurvedic brands** for ****and ****churnas (e.g., easily available at pharmacies or online)? (This will make it easier for you to buy and use correctly.) Advice- self medication is hazardous, always consult ayurvedic doctor before taking ayurvedic medicine. Consult me personally for details.

Ecosprin AV may cause gas or acidity in some people due to its aspirin content. Take it after food and avoid spicy, oily food. Ayurveda can help protect digestion and reduce gastric irritation with suitable herbs and diet. I suggest you consult me for a personalized plan.
