Blood test : Diabetic report
Dr. I have taken an  sugar test two months back and the report was fasting : 135 and pp it's 209  ( I have not taken any medicine just done some walking and exercise. After two months very recently  I have taken the test again it's shows Fasting 116 and PP it's 303. I am much worried on this. Kindly suggest me what to do. I really don't want to take medicine. Can wait for an another 1 month and I do walking and exercise and reduce the intake of carbs and sugar and  take test again and consult Dr. Or I have to meet diabetic Dr now itself Kindly suggest me . But I don't want to take medicine or other things. Thanks and regards Bharath thambu. K

Your fasting and PP sugars are high, and despite changes in diet and exercise for 3 months, have not shown significant improvement. These sugars give snap shot, it can be affected by diet, stress levels etc and are not sufficient alone to assess diabetes control by it self. Recommend obtaining HbA1C which shows 3 month average sugar to decide whether you will require medications or not. It’s highly likely that you will require medications, and dietary changes alone won’t be sufficient
