Hba1c tells you the blood sugar average for 3 months ot does not fluctuates with daily intakes it should be done if considering to diagnose diabetes

If your father/ mother is diabetic then you should get it teated otherwise if you don’t have any symptoms and your FBS is within normal range then no need to get HbA1C test .
