Blood streaked poop
I had the worst constipation of my life past week and strained a lot since then I am bleeding while I poop. Yesterday I went to the doctor and applied the tropical cream she gave me and it was a little less painful but i still had a streak of blood on my poop. How long will it take to heal

In my opinion you are suffering from anal fissure with secondary infection and heavy external hemorrhoids to be ruled out and it is better to consult the general surgeon and go through the clinical examination for further management and if not you can contact me I will explain what is the diet chart your to follow and what medications to be taken for the immediate solution

For blood stained stools, especially if it followed constipation, you should have gone to a General Surgeon.
We don't want to accept that constipation is due to lifestyle changes and it can not be cured by laxatives. But once bleeding has started due to passing hard stools then you have to go for a check up to see how much damage has been done to the rectum and anus.
Please get over this immediate problem and then you have to go for lifestyle modifications so that constipation doesn't occur.
