Blood in stool
My husband had blood in stool 2 for consecutive days and after that it was not seen. No other symptoms or pain or uneasiness.Upon consulting a doctor we are suggested to do a colonoscopy. Is that required and is a must to be taken? Is it ok to wait for taking the test? Are there any other options? What could be the reason?

You can wait for few days and watch further if any blood observed. Most common cause of bleed is Piles / Fissure in ano. Instead of Colonoscopy a short scopy bedside which takes 15 sec. is enough to rule out same.
