Bleeding mainly happens because of infection in gums , you should visit a dentist and get scaling done it might take 2-3 sittings if infection is more .

But basic reason would be improper oral hygiene
Have a dental checkup done

Hello sir,
Greetings for the day.
Bleeding gums are caused by inadequate plaque removal. Plaque contains germs which attack the healthy tissue around the teeth. This will cause the gums to become inflamed and irritated, which may cause them to bleed when brushing or flossing. This is called Gingivitis and is the first stage of gum disease. Gingivitis is usually a painless condition and bleeding gums may be the only symptom. Some other signs may include: swollen, red or tender gums; persistent bad breath or taste; teeth that are loose; and a change in the way your teeth fit when you bite. At this stage the disease can be treated and completely reversed. So it is important not to ignore your bleeding gums.
Next Steps
Visit a dentist and get professional Scaling and Polishing (Cleaning).
Health Tips

The main cause of bleeding gums is the buildup of plaque at the gum line. This will lead to a condition called gingivitis, or inflamed gums. Plaque that is not removed will harden into tartar. This will lead to increased bleeding and a more advanced form of gum and jawbone disease known as periodontitis. Other causes of bleeding gums include: Any bleeding disorder Brushing too hard Hormonal changes during pregnancy Ill-fitting dentures or other dental appliances Improper flossing Infection, which can be either in a tooth or the gum Leukemia, a type of blood cancer Scurvy, a vitamin C deficiency Use of blood thinners Vitamin K deficiency

Hi, blood in saliva may be due to gum disease. This is also called gingivitis or swollen gums due to deposits between your teeth and gums. People with such condition also see blood while brushing and bad odour from mouth. This can be corrected by getting a simple scaling. Please visit your dentist at the earliest. If symptoms still persist then the problem may be because of other systematic reasons.
