Blood clot after having a blood test
My husband had a blood test today morning. After the usual keeping the wound pressed and band-aid routine, when he removed the band-aid, there was a blood clot of size around 1cm square just next to the point of injection. Is it normal? Also, is it okay to do push ups and workout while having the clot? Please help.

The blood clot is called thrombophlebitis, you can apply ice over it and you can apply a thrombolyzing agent topical cream over the area. It is advisable to not exercise soon after as your hands may hurt.
