Blocked nose
Hello sir/mam my baby is suffering from blocked nose and thick mucus secretion and cough from 5 days he is also not able to feed.at night his nose is completely blocked.since last two months he is on medication for adenoid hypertrophy and given Paedriatic nasal spray for 3 times metaspray for 1 time and maxtra for 3 times a day on doctors prescription. Now I don't understand what to do next as I don't want to go hospital because of coronavirus.i want to know whether this is the symptom of cold or this is the recovery phase of adenoid hypertrophy he has no fever and his activities are normal.please suggest what to do thanks in advance.

You will have to continue nasal medication for long time for adenoid hypertrophy. No oral medication as it's not an infection.

Please stop maxtra. Continue metaspray once a day You can add cetrizine syrup 2.5 ml two times a day for 5 days Continue paediatric nasal spray three times a day. Report if there is fever Give sips of water at room temp.
