Blighted ovum
I was 10 week pregnant. During ultrasound it was found a blighted ovum. Before two day I was undergone miscarriage. The doctor advised me to do chromosome, genetic test, carrier screening. Pls suggest me what should I do. I already have two miscarriages. Now I am in so much stress.

90% reason for first trimester abortions is genetic. But karyotying is only a Panaromic view of the chromosomes. It’s important to get it done but it’s not going to pinpointedly diagnose issues. So genetic counselling will definitely help. Also starting on blood thinners like clexane and ecosprin should help you.
