Bleeding not stopping
My period started on 5 August and today is 13 August, but I am still bleeding. The flow is lighter than my usual period, but it has not stopped. Before this, I also had brown spotting. I have no pain, itching or bad smell. I have also been having dizziness, weakness and occasional breathing difficulty. I take Levipil (levetiracetam) 250 mg twice daily for seizures. I was previously advised 500 mg every 12 hours. Please advise what could be causing this prolonged bleeding and whether I need any tests or treatment.

Care AI Shimmer
Bleeding for more than a week along with dizziness, weakness and breathlessness needs prompt evaluation, as this pattern can point towards significant blood loss affecting your haemoglobin.
Next Steps
Please see a gynaecologist soon, ideally within the next day or two, for a blood count and ultrasound rather than waiting it out.
Health Tips
Please don't delay this given the breathlessness, and keep your neurologist informed too since you're on seizure medication.
