A week ago i went fell in the bathroom and on seeing the doctor he extracted blood from the joint which he said was collected there due to trauma. just one day after that the knee swelled up once again. what is the reason and what should be done?

Get you knee evaluated clinically and with MRI.
Recurrent swelling (heamarthrosis or hematoma ) is suggestive of intrarticular substance tear (menisci, ACL or PCL).
Wear compressive crepe bandage. Apply ice packs locally .
Medications like Enzomac and Tendocare will help.
Keep affected limb elevated.
