Bleeding gums
I had root canal treatment done in 2019 and I have experienced bleeding in the gums of that teeth 2.5 months back. Again today I have experienced bleeding. There is a gap between the root cap and gum. There is one more teeth beside the gum that needs deep filling . I have shown the dentist 1 month back and she did the scaling but didn't show much concern on the bleeding. It is concerning since it's repeating. I have read in google that in lukemia also there is gum bleeding. I am very tensed since then.. please advise!!

Hello Dont think about leukemia.if bleeding is only from particular tooth that mean problem is around that teeth. First understand the sequence of progress of problem. Bleeding means there in inflammation. Inflammation means there is infectious. Infectious means lack of cleaning. It may be due to food lodges on that area. Use floss or proxabrush to clean that area. It helps lots of patients. Take vit c tablet for few days. Use mouth wash in night for 5 days.and then alternate day for 10 days. If not work than consult with dentist to rule out any other generalized problen. If bleeding is generalized with all gums than proper check out required. Antibiotics may help but only after consulting with doctor. May it help to understand the situation.

Hi...In your case bleeding gums might due to food lodgement in gap between cap and gums( not lukemia)...I would suggest to get it checked again and if required change the cap as proper seal between cap and gums is necessary...Also get filling done in tooth with deep cavity as that can also be causing bleeding gums...Mostly this all will solve your problem..
Health Tips
Always massage gums around cap(crown) of tooth to keep gums healthy (as it increases blood circulation)..
