Bleeding at 25 weeks of pregnancy
Hi, My wife had bled heavy at 25 weeks pregnant. Got admitted and was administered Pause 500mg twice a day. Some spotting is still there. Doctors did CBC and assumed some infection is there, so they started with some antibiotics. But the spotting still exists. Now they did some LFT and found few values high. So currently they have added vitamin K injection once a day, and udivil 300 tablets twice a day. This seems to stop the spotting for one or two occassions, but then spotting starts again. On most occassions, the bleeding is fresh. She had heavy bleeding once in her 3rd month as well. Then the doctor had given Pause injection. Also added Susten SR 300(once daily) and Proluton Depot 500 injection once a week. She was also using Dydrogesterone tablet then. This had helped stop the bleeding and improved her pregnancy. I am wondering if the above medication can be used for treatment to stop her spotting/bleeding and if this can be continued if successful till 34 weeks. Please advise.
