Blackened gums
I have been smoking since 3 years. Noticed blackness in my gums two days ago and quit smoking since then. Do you think I have cancer? Can there be any easy remedy to treat my blackened gums?

Hi!!..blackness(hyperpigmentation) of gums can be due to smoking,it will reduce once you stop smoking permanently..still if you want improvement you can go for various dental procedure for reducing the pigmentation such as rotary, scalpel and laser techniques....if there is no other symptoms apart from black gums..its not cancerous.
