My daughter's teeth has black stains due to multivitamin which she was having till 1.5 years. New teeth emerging is also getting stained due to the previous one. I have consulted my paediatrician. He said that it's because of the multivitamin medicine and now I will have to consult with a dental clinic.

Pls attach a picture. By looking at the nature of stain further can be discussed. Age of your daughter? Milk teeth had similar stains? How long stain is present.any medical problem..?
The reason for this may be use of long term multi vitamin syrups these syrups contain sweetners and are acidic in nature which makes the tooth enamel soft. Most of the vitamins comes with iron suppliments which may be the reason for blackish stain.
Or may be the blackish stain is caries. Visit dentist as early as possible to evaluate properly as its the eruption time for all milk teeth.
