I suggest you to please share pic because the stain although being extrinsic can have many reasons like tea, coffee, medications or ,food products
So accordingly to etiology treatment will be prescribed

It can be because of tea, coffee, smoking or tartar. Sometimes stain producing bacterias will be present which can cause these stains.

Black stains may be because of external factors like excessive consumption of tea, coffee, or alcohol or tobacco.
Also, because of trauma or fall teeth may have discolouration
It can be removed by professional cleaning process called Scaling & if severe may require tooth whitening procedure
