Hey Daksh Melanin, a nonhemoglobin-derived brown pigment, is the most common of the endogenous pigments and is produced by melanocytes present in the basal layer of the epithelium. Gingival hyperpigmentation is caused by excessive deposition of melanin located in the basal and suprabasal cell layers of the epithelium which is normal in ur case.. But maintain a good oral hygiene... Oral prophylaxis is required.

Hey Daksh, there is a pigment Melanin which is found in gum tissue and gives it dark colour. Some medicines, endocrine disturbances or smoking also cause darkening of gums. Sometimes a black spot on the gums could be a type of oral cancer. From this photo blackness on gums seems to be within normal range but you need to be examined.
Next Steps
Visit a dental specialist. Your photo shows that you need cleaning of teeth and maybe gum treatment.
