2 to 3 gums (near the lateral incisor) of mine have suddenly turned black. They don't hurt and they dont bleed. I noticed it only because i saw myself in the mirror. What can the reason be?

Black colour of gums is due to melanin pigmentation.its normal in people with dark skin tones .
Some medicines , smoking..so many factors associated with this.
Mostly not harmful. It's better to leave like that.
