Black fungus can even come without Covid-19. Disease is a variant to aseptate hyphae and can even come to asymptomatic patients. If there is a suspicion, one should always go for nasal endoscopy and CT Scan of PNS.

Not all sinus infection is related to mucormycosis. Consult a doctor if you have any symptoms like facial pain, swelling , watering from eyes or jaw pain . If none, u need not worry
