Biting skin near lower left 3rd molar
3rd molar in lower left is impacted. It is near inferior akveolar nerve. The tooth lacks spa e to grow. So my bite is damaging nearby skin. Surgeon says extraction is not essential. Without extraction how do we solve further damage to skin due to improper bite?

The tooth that is causing cheek biting has to be rounded first to prevent further damage..and if the problem still persists, it is advised to get the tooth removed immediately

Unfortunately there are not many options other than tooth removal. You can take a second opinion from an oral surgeon if in doubt
