Nature of specimen: Endometrial biopsy
Gross Description:
Specimen consists of multiple irregular grey brown and grey white tissue bits in aggregate measuring 1x0.9 cms.
All embedded.
Microscopic Examination:
Sections from endometrium show endometrial glands in proliferative phase with normal gland stroma ratio, focal crowding and architectural distortion in a cellular stroma with ectatic vessels. No hyperplasia, cytological atypia or malignancy seen.
Impression :
Endometrial biopsy- Disordered Proliferative Endometrium. No hyperplasia, cytological atypia or malignancy seen.
