Biopsy for Prostate enlargement
Hi , my uncle is 60 years old , by sonography it is figured out that prostatectomy grade 2 is enlarged in size 49 cc with heterogeneous with echo texture & irregular margins .psa>100 , right renal cortical cyst, adv-psa ... urologist told us to go for biopsy as there are chances for cancer ..So what should be the next step as biopsy is dangerous , is there any alternative or should we go for it ..All other tests are negative like blood sugar etc , creatinine etc

There are very high chances of cancer... Your uncle should get a biopsy, there are no alternatives. Its good that all other tests are normal so you should get a biopsy ASAP REGARDS
