My sister is a mental Retardation patient ... she is 17 now ... before 7 months she had epilepsy for first time in her life.. before the 10 days of epilepsy her mental behavior was changed ... now she is being very abnormal and anger ,attacking , talking loud with unknown , she is has been taking torleva xr 500 since 7 months ,and we are consulting her with Institute Of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences(IMHANS).but she dont have any changes in her behavior. what will we do .we need our sistr back

See it is very important to ensure that there is never again another sezuire occuring because it causes significant damage to the brain. It is important to understand Mental Retardation is a permanent condition but Therapy would definitely help her with the problems you reported please meet a clinical psychologist alongside or ask your treating doctor to refer to a clinical psychologist.
