Ergonomic planning can help reduce back pain caused by excessive sitting. Here are some tips: 1. Adjust your chair: Make sure your chair is adjusted to the right height so that your feet are flat on the floor and your knees are at a 90-degree angle. Your hips should be at the same height as your knees or slightly higher. 2. Support your back: Use a lumbar support cushion or a rolled-up towel to support the natural curve of your lower back. 3. Adjust your monitor: Make sure your monitor is at eye level so that you don't have to bend your neck or strain your eyes to see it. 4. Take breaks: Take regular breaks to stand up, stretch, and move around. Try to take a break every 30 minutes to an hour. 5. Exercise: Engage in regular exercise to strengthen your back muscles and improve your posture. 6. Use a standing desk: Consider using a standing desk or a sit-stand desk to reduce the amount of time you spend sitting. Remember to consult with a healthcare professional if you're experiencing persistent back pain or if you need more personalized advice on ergonomic planning.
