Yes if the Biparietal diameter of foetal head is less than 9.3 cm., it can get engaged even at 38 weeks. The Obstetrician knows what is safe. Ask for a trial labour for induction of natural labor
Your age is plus factor. If baby is less than 3kg,
and you pelvis broad enough 50% chance of
head coming down with pains is there. But
usually with floating head they tend to go postmatue . So ask your doctor to induce after evaluating delivery date properly.
