My 4 week baby got diagnosed with silent reflux. Is this curable for long term? How many burps is good enough for preventing reflux after feeding? Baby sometimes fall asleep while burping and does not let out. Will this be a problem for her if she sleeps without burping? She is exclusively formula fed on nan pro 1.

Good evening,
Little reflux is not a worry, burping and posture is only required as long as baby is growing well.
Take care.

Reflux goes away after a few months. So no need to worry. The baby may not burp every time. Just hold them up for 10 to 15 mins. In my opinion, reflux is due to formula. Start weaning early when 6th month starts to decrease dependency on formula
