My daughter is 1 month old and she Cannot pass stool for 3 days. When she gives pressure she pass urine instead of stool and crying... what should I do?

Hello mommy! Its very common for newborns not to pass stools for some days. Ideally newborn must be passing stools few times a day. If thats not happening, it means your fluid intake is less. Boost up your fluid intake with warer,juices,milk, buttermilk and see if this improves. You can apply Lignocaine ointment at baby's anus when she is straining. This is to avoid pain. If still continuing, please consult a pediatrician. Hope this helps!
