Baby not eating semi solid food
Hi Doctor, My baby is now 8 month old. Stared weaning from 6 months. Starting she used to eat like steamed apple, ragi and banana. But gradually she reduced eating that also.  She is not eating new food also. From 15 days she is not eating at all. Only one time eat and she after that closes her mouth and refuse to eat anything. She is dring water and breast milk also only 2 min she is drinking. Her birth weight was 3.5 kg. Her current weight not increased from 2 months it same 8.5kg. what I can do make her eat. Is her health is fine. She is active and play well. Please suggest.

As weight is normal and she is active and playful, there is no need to worry. She will start eating in a few days. Are you giving formula or packaged food? Avoid that. Give home cooked fresh food.is she passing potty daily? Is she gassy? That may mean digestion issues. But she should be fine in some time.

Try semisolid food ,change taste ,give variety food .weight is good but if not increased is certainly  not good . Also do a urine test to rule out infection thr.

Hi, Children are pussy or choosy eaters. Change the recipes and try different foods, Try semisolids .
