Baby jerky type movements
Hi sir or mam My baby boy was 7 days old, sometimes his head hand and legs were moving like jerky, please tell me why he is doing like that.is it serious issue?

Hello, dont worry,  such jerky movements are very common in neonatal peruod specially first couple of months. Breastfeed the child well. And keep giving vitamin d supplementation routinely

Jerky movement are due to many causes.... Mostly they are not worry some But one should check that... Does he cried at birth? Was he admitted immediately after birth? He is 7 days old does he had/having jaundice?
